I made this light to provide critical illumination in the center of the open design kitchen/dining room of our 160 year old cape. It also provides a partial visual barrier which helps to separate and define the two rooms. It is 62" x 13" x 7" tall, and it is essentially just a box (open at the top to keep halogens cool) with a double switch to turn on 1, 2 or all lamps.
